People often get stressed out if they are told to exercise more, as they assume it means going to the gym or making some dramatic life change. But exercising can become a natural part of your life, and it need not take more than 15 or 20 minutes each day. Here are three exercises that you can complete at home, and with no extra equipment. They will help you feel healthier and fitter with each passing week.

1. Push Ups

It may come across as a simple exercise, but pushups are a fantastic way to get into fitness. You do not need a gym, or anything complicated to do a pushup. All you need is motivation and some floor space. You can even plop down on the floor in your bedroom as you wake up, and complete 20 pushups. Then do two more sets of 20, and you are all set. It is a great workout for your upper body, and it will help with your core strength too.

2. Squats

There is no other exercise that you can perform so easily, and will give you so many benefits for your body. Squats will work your back, hamstrings, quads, hips and other parts of your body. There are different variations of squats that you can perform, and some even include weights. But even if you stick with standard squats, two or three sets of 10 each day will do wonders for your body.

3. Jumping Jacks

There is a tendency to look negatively at jumping jacks, because they are the type of exercise we used to do in school as kids. But jumping jacks are such a terrific all-round exercise, since they are working different parts of your body. They also help you feel more awake and active, especially if you have a sedentary lifestyle.

Chiropractic Exercises

If you are suffering from sports injuries, exercising could make your injury worse. Before beginning an exercising routine you should always check with a medical doctor to ensure it is safe. If your sports injury causes you pain and doesn’t seem to be going away a chiropractor may be able to help. History has proven that chiropractic medicine can help alleviate acute and chronic pain naturally and without medications.
